At EN Architects & Developments we are always focused on finding the next starchitect. We only take the very best, and so we started early by getting children from Hove Village Day Nursery over for an introduction to architecture.

It was pretty highbrow and involved collaging some elevations, making their own plans from some pre-drawn room layouts we had lying around, and of course learning about diggers, cranes and bulldozers (not without compliant PPE).

We are used to having to adapt our message to make sure it lands with the right audience, be it planner, client or the public. But we really had to put ourselves in the children's shoes to figure out the best ways of explaining our role in the design and construction process.

It was pretty easy in the end though as we just draw pretty pictures anyway....
