We really enjoyed working with this husband and wife team to transform their faded Art Deco building in to a modern family home. We provided design advice and planning support to convert the former servants kitchen, scullery and preparation area in to 3 additional bedrooms and bathrooms, and then converted the former ballroom in to a generous and light filled family room with open plan kitchen, dining and living space.

In addition we introduced the idea of Juliet balconies to the first floor bedrooms, so these principle rooms could take advantage of the stunning views over the gardens and countryside beyond. These design features also help give balance and proportion to the main elevation.
