This scheme in Sydenham, required London Architects familiar with local planning policy in order to subdivide an existing building within a conservation area into four self-contained flats, supported by a ground floor extension to maximise the layout and unit mix.

We secured full planning permission for the developer client on a fast-paced programme, balancing the constraints of a sensitive conservation area setting with the need for a deliverable, viable scheme the resulting consent supported a £1.8m GDV.

From initial appraisal through to a full planning application, we kept the process moving at the pace the client's programme demanded, without compromising on the quality of design needed to secure consent in a conservation area.
