With experience working in and around Northiam and Rye, we supported a developer-led 'Call for Sites' submission to Rother District Council.

We assessed the site’s opportunities and constraints, testing potential layouts against Nationally Described Space Standards (NDSS) to understand the site’s capacity and establish a realistic approach to development.

Reviewing contextual densities across the surrounding area allowed us to agree an optimum development density for the site to maximise potential land value without overreaching what a local planning authority would find acceptable.

We worked alongside a planning consultant with a strong track record in the local area, combining planning and design expertise to present the strongest possible case for the site at this early and speculative stage of the development process.
